  • Western Regional Manager
    (Bay Area, CA)
    • Job Description
       We are hiring a technical motion control sales and business development professional to expand ACS’ presence in the marketplace, develop new customers and partnerships, manage ongoing business, and execute sales and marketing strategies. This position is part of the global ACS Sales and Marketing team, which works closely with the Control, Support, and Applications team to deliver solutions to meet or exceed customer needs.


      Primary Duties and Responsibilities
      >  Identify and develop new customers, applications, and markets.
      >  Manage new and existing customer accounts.
      > Work in close partnership with an application engineer to provide pre and post sales support and engineering services to customers
      >  Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
      >  Provide sales training to partner organizations.
      >  Perfomr demonstrations of product capabilities and features.
      >  Provide feedback and input to internal product management and development team.
      >  Provide periodic activity reports to company management.


      Required Skills and Experience
      >  5+ years professional engineering experience including 3+ years Sales and Business Development experience with high precision motion control products such as motion controllers, servo drives, linear servomotors, linear encoders, precision motion stages.
      >  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in motion control related engineering field (Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics). MBA or similar preferred.
      >  Experience and familiarity with automation programming, fieldbus technologies.
      >  Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. Must be able to work in front of a customer and confidently represent him/herself and the company to others.
      >  Strong technical writing and presentation skills. Able to prepare and deliver presentations tailored to various audiences.
      >  Enjoys working closely with a small team.
      >  Enjoys working from a home office.

       

      Travel
      >  During training period: 50%+ to MN and Israel offices
      >  After training period:
         - Up to 50% within the primary target by car
         - Up to 25% outside the primary target region
         - Visits to MN office 3-4 times per year, visites to Israel office 1 time per year.
         

      Compensation & Benefits
      >  Salary plus performance based bonuses/commissions.

  • Technical Inside Sales

    • Job Description
      ACS Motion Control, Inc. is looking for someone to manage Technical Inside Sales, combining technical knowledge and customer service skills to assist in the development and satisfaction of new and existing customers. In this role, you will: contact target customers via phone and email to introduce and promote the company and its products, follow up on leads to identify business opportunities, be trained to understand basic operation of ACS products, generate/review technical quotations, work in partnership with field sales and application engineers to resolve customer service issues, perform data entry and maintenance within ERP and CRM systems, periodically prepare and review sales reports, provide training on pricing tools to partners, process and arrange shipments for select orders and RMAs, and more.


      What we need from you:
      >  Proof of US Citizenship, Green Card, or existing H1B Visa status (with ability to travel to Israel)

      ACS Motion Control, Inc. is looking for a Sales Engineer to help customers solve motion control challenges and win design projects with high-tech industrial equipment manufacturers in fields such as Semiconductor and Electronics Manufacturing, Laser Microprocessing, Life Sciences, and more. You will work closely with a small team of colleague engineers to define and execute sales and business development strategies.

      In this role, you will focus on hunting for new opportunities, coordinating company resources to convert opportunities into design wins, managing relationships with key accounts and channel partners, and ultimately increasing business in the territory to meet or exceed growth goals.


      What we need from you:
      >  Proof of US Citizenship, Green Card, or existing H1B Visa status (with ability to travel to Israel)
      >  A passion for working with others to solve engineering challenges
      >  A desire to travel - 50%+ overnight travel, primarily to Eastern USA
      >  Interest and/or experience in sales, business development, and entrepreneurship

         - A basic understanding of closed loop motion control systems and their components/technologies: motion controllers, servo drives, servo motors, encoders, feedback / PID control, real time motion programs, PC based host applications.
         - Ability to prepare complex solution proposals
         - Ability to give technical presentations and trainings to small groups
