  • Western Regional Manager
    (Bay Area, CA)
    • Job Description
       We are hiring a technical motion control sales and business development professional to expand ACS’ presence in the marketplace, develop new customers and partnerships, manage ongoing business, and execute sales and marketing strategies. This position is part of the global ACS Sales and Marketing team, which works closely with the Control, Support, and Applications team to deliver solutions to meet or exceed customer needs.


      Primary Duties and Responsibilities
      >  Identify and develop new customers, applications, and markets.
      >  Manage new and existing customer accounts.
      > Work in close partnership with an application engineer to provide pre and post sales support and engineering services to customers
      >  Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
      >  Provide sales training to partner organizations.
      >  Perfomr demonstrations of product capabilities and features.
      >  Provide feedback and input to internal product management and development team.
      >  Provide periodic activity reports to company management.


      Required Skills and Experience
      >  5+ years professional engineering experience including 3+ years Sales and Business Development experience with high precision motion control products such as motion controllers, servo drives, linear servomotors, linear encoders, precision motion stages.
      >  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in motion control related engineering field (Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics). MBA or similar preferred.
      >  Experience and familiarity with automation programming, fieldbus technologies.
      >  Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. Must be able to work in front of a customer and confidently represent him/herself and the company to others.
      >  Strong technical writing and presentation skills. Able to prepare and deliver presentations tailored to various audiences.
      >  Enjoys working closely with a small team.
      >  Enjoys working from a home office.

       

      Travel
      >  During training period: 50%+ to MN and Israel offices
      >  After training period:
         - Up to 50% within the primary target by car
         - Up to 25% outside the primary target region
         - Visits to MN office 3-4 times per year, visites to Israel office 1 time per year.
         

      Compensation & Benefits
      >  Salary plus performance based bonuses/commissions.

  • Application Engineer

    • Job Description
      We are hiring a technically talented yet customer oriented application engineering professional to provide pre and post sales support and engineering services to our customers, and to execute marketing strategies. This position is part of the global ACS Control, Support, and Applications team, and works closely with the Sales and Marketing team to deliver solutions to meet or exceed customer requirements.

      Primary Duties and Responsibilities
      >  Motion control application development and support engineering (remote and onsite), focusing on real time multi-axis motion programming and electromechanical performance optimization
      >  Execute marketing strategies: create powerpoint presentations, brochures and flyers, application notes, white papers, articles, informational videos. Work with partner organizations to publish and deliver materials to the marketplace as well as track their success
      >  Inside sales engineering: review and prepare technical quotations/proposals, work with customer and field sales engineers to win new projects and accounts
      >  Problem Solving: commissioning, troubleshooting, making things work!
      >  Provide product and feature demonstrations
      >  Provide remote and onsite training to customers and partners
      >  Identify and define potential product/feature improvements and communicate to R&D
      >  Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners


      Required Skills and Experience
      >  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in motion control related engineering field (Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics) required. Emphasis on electric motors and drives, feedback control systems, or signal processing preferred.
      >  Interest in or experience with technical sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship. MBA or business related minor preferred.
      >  Programming proficiency in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, VB/VB.NET, Scripting Languages, Text Based Motion Controller languages.
      >  Engineering experience at an OEM or System Integrator using motion control products preferred.
      >  Strong interpersonal skills, enjoys working with people and technology equally. Must be able to work in front of a customer and confidently represent him/herself and the company to others.
      >  Enjoys working closely with a small team.

      ACS Motion Control, Inc. is looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator to combine technical knowledge and customer service skills to assist in the development and satisfaction of new and existing customers. In this role, you will: contact target customers via phone and email to introduce and promote the company and its products, follow up on leads to identify business opportunities for field sales engineers, be trained to understand basic operation of ACS products, generate/review technical quotations, work in partnership with field sales and application engineers to resolve customer service issues, perform data entry and maintenance within ERP and CRM systems, periodically prepare and review sales reports, provide training on pricing tools to partners, process and arrange shipments for select orders and RMAs, and more


      What we need from you:
      >  Proof of US Citizenship, Green Card, or existing H1B Visa status (with ability to travel to Israel)
