The Jewish New Year, known also as Rosh Hashanah, is a holy day and a time for friends and family to gather and celebrate with a festive feast.
For many families, the celebration is not possible because they quite simply, cannot afford the feast. Thankfully, there are many non-profit organizations that are taking care to organize volunteers to pack food, that is then distributed as needed. ACS decided to start this new year by offering our time and resources at one of these organizations. We are grateful for the opportunity to help families in need to enjoy a bountiful Rosh Hashanah.
