ACS Motion Control announces the release of SPiiPlus ADK Suite v3.14!

The new ADK Suite and associated controller firmware includes new controller features and programming extensions, enhancements to MMI Application Studio and Host Application Libraries.

SPiiPlus ADK Suite v3.14 highlights include:

• The SPiiPlusSC platform supports Ubuntuv22.04 Linux operating systems, enabling customers to select the operating system that aligns with their preference and meets their specific demands and system requirements.
• The ACS Python library is a significant addition that bridges the gap between the ACS motion control platform and the open-source data processing tools available in the Python programming language ecosystem.
• Support new 1 Axis 30A/60A configuration for ECMdx, IDMdx and UDMdx
• Position Event Generation (PEG) is now supported with ACSPL+ Struct object-oriented programming, making code more streamlined and simpler to maintain.
• MMI Application Studio enhancements including:
  • The Frequency Response Function (FRF) Analyzer extends its capability of cross-coupling response of MIMO systems across all of ACS’ SPiiPlus motion controllers and servo drives products to analyze coupled dynamics and improve servo tuning.
  • Furthermore, the FRF Analyzer is able to execute numerous measurements, modify servo parameters, and observe the resulting impacts on numerous FRF plots. Improved Adjuster support for Gantry stages
  • The Dynamic Error Compensation Wizard has been streamlined to make it easier for users to import single or multiple error mapping tables and generate optimized code while retaining the flexibility for advanced users who require additional processing.
  • The Protection Wizard has been updated with a secondary level protection to better accommodate additional users to maintain intellectual property protection at various phases of system and application development.
  • The MMI Scope improvements will facilitate the simplification of the configuration process, enabling users to quickly configure settings, select data, and compare data.
  • Program Buffer Shortcut Keys are now configurable allowing users to establish custom keyboard and mouse shortcuts.
